The Sovereign Chauffeur Company Terms and Conditions

• CANCELLATION POLICY: Confirmed bookings cancelled between 5 days and 24 hours before the booking will be subject to a 50% charge of the total booking value. And if you cancel in the last 24 hours, you’ll have to pay the full amount of the booking.
• Unless prior agreement is made, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required upon booking, with the remainder due 7 days prior to the date of hire. Payment is due by cash, credit or debit card, bank transfer or cleared cheque.
• The Sovereign Chauffeur Company reserves the right to charge for any additional costs over and above the original quotation in terms of parking fees, toll charges, mileage, and time.
• The client is responsible for specifying the collection time and address to ensure adequate time is allowed prior to airport check-in or appointments. The Sovereign Chauffeur Company doesn’t take any responsibility for transfers that arrive late.
• The agreed collection time must be adhered to by the passengers. After this time, waiting time will be charged at £50.00 per hour in 15 minute increments. It is at the driver’s discretion how long to wait before leaving. Lateness of the passengers will still render the booking fully chargeable at the original quoted rate plus any waiting time.
• Collections from airports, rail stations, and sea ports are for the published arrival time. One hour will be allowed for disembarking and luggage retrieval free of charge. After this time, waiting time will be charged at £50.00 per hour in 15 minute increments, plus any additional parking fees incurred.
• Passengers are responsible for ensuring the amount and weight of luggage is suitable for the vehicle booked. If, in the driver’s opinion, the size or weight of the luggage is excessive for the vehicle, the company reserves the right to refuse to carry such luggage and alternative arrangements must be made by the client at their expense.
• The Sovereign Chauffeur Company accepts no responsibility for lost or damaged property, howsoever caused.
• The Sovereign Chauffeur Company is not responsible for late arrivals or delays in trips caused by things outside of its control, such as heavy traffic, accidents, roadwork, bad weather, flat tires, or breakdowns.
• The Sovereign Chauffeur Company reserves the right to refuse to carry passengers whose behaviour is unacceptable. This includes intoxication through drink or drugs and violent or aggressive behaviour. The driver’s decision is final and can be made at any point from collection to delivery of passengers. If this happens, the contract will be cancelled right away, and the full amount of the hire will be due.
• A soiling charge of £300.00 will be charged to the client if any passenger is ill in the car.
• Smoking, eating, and drinking in the vehicle is not permitted under any circumstances.
• Any damage caused to the vehicle by a passenger will result in a full charge for the repair being made to the client.
• Only Sovereign Chauffeur Company drivers are permitted to drive the company’s vehicles.
• By confirming your booking, you agree to adhere to our terms and conditions in full.
• Clients must ensure their motor insurance policy includes any driver to take advantage of the driver only service. If not, then the driver provided will be required to be added to the insurance as a named driver.
