Travel onto St Gregory’s Minster – an Anglo Saxon church in Kirkdale before heading across to the North York Moors. Enjoy the amazing scenery of Farndale, Bransdale and Rosedale before dropping down into Goathland – home of the popular ‘ Heartbeat ‘ TV series. The railway station here was featured in a recent Harry Potter film. Onto the coastal town of Whitby where you can visit the Abbey first founded in the 7th century, look round the independent shops in the old part of the town or walk along the pier enjoying the lovely coastal views before having Fish and Chips at The Star Inn The Harbour.
